The Bison business in the United States will always be a “niche” business, and never a “commodity” business. Our company is a family owned enterprise and we pride ourselves on very personal customer service. Our customers are paying for a premium, top quality product and we provide individually tailored service to match—whether you are buying at one of our many retail outlets, restaurant users, or directly from us. We sell both Wholesale in large quantities and Retail in quantities from 1 pound to whole or half bison for our home freezer customers.

 

 

Not only do none of our Bison spend any time on feedlots or fattening locales, NONE of our ground products have anything else added. Some producers add beef fat or other “extenders” to their Ground Bison, which cheapens the mix and changes the taste. We do NOT!! Our bison is 100% Bison!!

 

 

JB Gans, the Founder of Rancho Picante Bison, maintains personal contact with all our wholesale and retail customers through personal delivery throughout the Yellowstone Valley Region of Montana and at this area’s five Farmers Markets in Summer and Winter. JB provides his personal cell phone to RPB’s customers and is always available to you. We can also provide custom cuts with advance notice.
